Education: James Munson earned his Masters Degree in Hospitality Real Estate Finance from The Cornell School of Hotel Administration in 1995.
Experience: We have over twenty one years of successfully closing SBA, conventional, non-recourse, bridge, and CMBS hospitality loans. We have in-depth knowledge of SBA regulations and conventional financing parameters. Every deal is different; we plan ahead to anticipate and manage potential issues before they become problematic to the financing process.
Performance: From the earliest possible point in the process we analyze and consult on the major components of the deal; the borrower(s), their equity position and management experience, the subject property’s physical condition, historic cash flows and position within the specific market. With this we can provide preliminary advice as to what kind of loan structure is most likely to succeed. This pre-qualification of the buyer and the property allows the buyer and seller to better understand and prepare for the execution of the contract and the subsequent financing process.
Results: We market the deal to multiple local, regional and national lenders for maximum exposure, generating the best rate and terms for the borrower and assuring a back-up lender if necessary.
Personalized attention: James Munson is personally involved with every deal. We act as project managers, overseeing the entire process and ensuring that all details, especially SBA regulations, are taken care of to assure a successful settlement.
